Missionary Leadership

Stephan & Jennifer Park

Missionaries serving in Centro Poblado Llachon, Peru — sent and supported by Light of Love Mission Church.

  • Love Jesus Love Peru exists to glorify God by sharing the love of Jesus Christ and the hope of the Gospel with the people of Llachon, the Lake Titicaca region, and the remote communities of southern Peru.

  • Our desire is to see lives transformed by the saving grace of Jesus Christ and communities strengthened through the love of God.

  • We minister holistically, believing that true transformation occurs when physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual needs are addressed together.

  • Through evangelism, discipleship, children's ministry, medical outreach, education, leadership development, and community partnerships, we seek to demonstrate the compassion of Christ and make disciples who will impact future generations.

What We Believe

  • In one God, eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

  • The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.

  • All people are sinners and that salvation is found only through faith in Jesus Christ.

  • Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, rose again on the third day, ascended into heaven, is seated at the right hand of the Father, and will return again in power and glory.

Our Values

01

Glorify God in everything we do.

02

Bring people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

03

Show and share the love of Jesus Christ through compassionate service.

04

Love every person with the compassion of Christ.

05

Serve with humility, integrity, excellence, and faithfulness.

06

Depend on the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit.

The Gospel We Believe

The Five Solas

Scripture Alone

Sola Scriptura

The Bible alone is God's inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word. It is our final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, and Christian living.

“Your word is truth.” (John 17:17)

Grace Alone

Sola Gratia

Salvation is entirely the work of God's grace. We cannot earn God's favor through good works, religious traditions, moral living, or obedience to the Law. Salvation is God's free gift to undeserving sinners.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith... it is the gift of God.” (Ephesians 2:8–9)

Faith Alone

Sola Fide

A person is declared righteous before God by faith alone in Jesus Christ—not by works, religious ceremonies, baptism, church membership, or keeping the Law. Our good works are the fruit of salvation, not the cause of salvation.

“A person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ.” (Galatians 2:16)

Christ Alone

Solus Christus

Jesus Christ is the only Savior and the only Mediator between God and mankind. His sinless life, sacrificial death, and bodily resurrection provide the only way of forgiveness and eternal life. There is no other name by which we must be saved.

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)

To the Glory of God Alone

Soli Deo Gloria

Because salvation is entirely God's work from beginning to end, all praise, honor, and glory belong to Him alone. Our desire is that every ministry, every act of service, every mission trip, and every transformed life would point people to Jesus Christ and bring glory to God alone.

“To Him be glory forever. Amen.” (Romans 11:36)

Our Understanding of Salvation

  • The Gospel is the good news that God, in His great love, sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to save sinners.

  • All people have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and the wages of sin is death.

  • Jesus Christ lived a sinless life, died on the cross in our place, was buried, and rose again on the third day, conquering sin and death.

  • Salvation is received by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone—not by works, so that no one may boast.

  • Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, and is forgiven, justified, and adopted into the family of God.

  • Those who trust in Christ are called to repentance, to follow Him as Lord, and to grow as His disciples.

  • All glory for this salvation belongs to God alone.

Our Commitment

  • We are committed to preaching and living the Gospel of Jesus Christ faithfully.

  • We are committed to loving and serving the people of Llachon, the Lake Titicaca region, and the remote communities of southern Peru.

  • We are committed to ministering holistically—addressing physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual needs together.

  • We are committed to serving with humility, integrity, excellence, and faithfulness in every area of ministry, including our stewardship of the resources God provides.

  • We are committed to making disciples who will impact future generations for the glory of God.
